Broken
I rammed the back of my ankle into a shelf, twice. I broke off the end of my lipstick while trying to apply it to my lips. I trip over my own shoes. I bled on my clean sheets and pants. I keep dropping things. My computer keeps crashing. I made the DVD player in the hotel room freeze just when we finally started to relax and watch a movie. I ripped half of my right index finger nail off trying to remove the plastic from a new DVD.
Now not only is my body broken, but I'm breaking everything else around me too. And everything else is doing its best to break me some more, in new creative ways. I give up, they win, and I need a hug from a friend now.
