I feel horrid. I loath

I feel horrid. I loath colds. This'll be just a quick note before I hit the showers.

My mom told me something seriously scary this morning about her visit to my brother's house last night for some redecorating. Since Kevin hasn't blogged about it yet, I'm going to tell it. (Kev, feel free to give more details on your site, I wanna know more.) So they were having trouble sizing the curtains to the windows, and Kevin and my Mom were working out some ratios. If I remember what my mom said correctly, it was 109 - 92 that they were working on when Max walked up, stared at it for a while, then said, "It's 17!" then scampered away. They figured it out and sure enough, the kid was right. How scary is that? Two and a half and he's doing subtraction. Not only can he figure out 109 - 92, he also knows what the symbols mean. And he's doing it in his head. It took me ages to conquer subtraction and he did it without a teacher! I think he needs a private tutor so he can really conquer the world before he's 8. I think I see an MIT scholarship in his future.

Now it's time for me to go before I gag. I think it's time to go to the doctor.
