Videos: Domo-Kun
Japan has supplied the Internet with some of the most memorable videos ever to be spread like viruses around the various computers of the world. My favorite is the loveable Domo-kun, a bizarre brown block of a monster whose name pretty much means "Mr. Thank You."
Domo's beloved in Japan, and has been immortalized in various bits and bobs of cute merchandise, from toys to T-shirts to dancing alarm clocks. I was recently telling a friend of mine about the loveable Domo, but when I tried to find the videos online, they were nowhere to be found.
I've decided to do something about it, and since I have oodles of webspace and unlimited bandwidth that I'm not using at the moment, I've decided to host them. Thankfully I'm a terrible pack-rat, so I dug out the CD I'd burned years ago of Domo's various adventures, and have uploaded them to my server for you all to enjoy.
Aren't I nice? :)
Right click on the links below to save them for yourself; they shouldn't take long to download, as each file is just about 1.5MB. The only exception is the last episode, which is just over 9MB, but ooh, trust me, it's worth it. :) If you have problems viewing them, it's probably because you need the divx codec, which can be downloaded here for free. If you have any Domo videos that aren't listed here, email me right away (hlawver (at) gmail dot com) and I'll be more than happy to host them for the masses.
Download, watch, enjoy, and long live Domo!
