All About Me
This is the inevitable section of my blog where I get to tell you all about me - Heather - what makes me tick, what flavor of ice cream I prefer, where I was when I was five years old, and my plans for world domination. You know, all that kind of information that's so vitally important I had to dedicate a whole page to it. Yeah. Let's get started, shall we?
First off, that portrait of me, obviously that's not how I really look. I figure it's a fairly accurate illustration, but obviously I don't actually have black outlines around my features. I just figured it'd be a bit more unique, a bit unexpected. If you want to see what I really look like, click here.
That's me! Or rather, an illustrated version of me...
The Basics
Full name: Heather. That's all you need to know. Find out yourself.
Nicknames: Meg, Meggers, Madam Meg, Deedulldurrdurr (My friend Naomi made that one up when we were both a year and a half old - she couldn't say Heather).
    State born in: North Carolina
State you live in now: Virginia, just outside Washington, DC.
    Birthdate: 02-08-85
    Astrological sign: Aquarius
Political Party: Registered Independent. While on this subject, I wanna clear something up - I don't know why everyone always assumes I'm a Republican - I'm not a Republican! I've never been a Republican. Even my political compass test says I wasn't a Republican! People can assume all they want to, but we all know what assuming does - it makes an ass out of u and me. Although mostly you, cause I've done my bit now, I don't know how to be any clearer. I'm an Independent and proud of it!
Updated 4/10 School: None! Woooo! I was home-schooled as a kid after leaving public school halfway through the first grade. Finished most of my high school level work at 12, was supposed to go to college but was too sick to go. Applied to college again at 17 when I thought I'd recovered, got accepted by the Courtauld Institute of Art, an amazing art school in London, but fell ill again and couldn't go. Now I'm stuck in the same boat. Again. If I ever get well again, I'm kinda tempted to go to MIT, since I know a professor there who runs an absolutely stellar and thoroughly intriguing degree program - Professor Henry Jenkins and his Comparative Media Studies program. There's a segment in that course about me, so I've always been kinda curious what it'd be like to take a test on myself, hehe. Would I pass? Would I get to argue with the professor about what my true intentions really were? Would they dare give me an F?! I'd just love to find out. :) After that, well, I'm still kinda tempted to study copyright law under Professor Lawrence Lessig, who's currently at Harvard Law. But I still don't know what I'm going to do (or if I could afford all that Ivy Leagueness). But since I can't do anything at the moment, I still have some time on my hands before I absolutely have to figure that out.
Updated 4/10 Hobbies: Writing, web services, web design, art, campaigning against anything that spurns my overdeveloped sense of righteous indignation, photography, studying anything that sparks my curiosity, or doing basically anything creative.
Updated 4/10 Sports that you play/enjoy: None at the moment. My health's kinda gotten in the way of that. But back when I could, I was involved in automotive racing a little bit, I was a gymnast for a little while as a kid. I used to like Boxing, but yeah, that sure didn't last long. I never did get to try kayaking like I wanted to, but ah well, maybe one day. :)
    Height: Just under 5'7"
Updated 4/10 Weight: Depends what day you ask. Given my current health situation, being all swollen up like that blueberry girl in 'Willy Wonka', it can fluctuate between 5 to 12 pounds in any given day. Edema's fun! Ugh.
Shoe size: 8 and a half
Updated 4/10 Right or lefty: righty. But I'm trying to train my left hand to do things. My writing still looks like a five-year-old's though... but it's getting better! :)

Currents - April 2010:
Music: The Real Tuesday Weld, Jonathan Coulton, The Puppini Sisters, and just a hint of the Scissor Sisters. You know, for giggles. :)
Books: 'The Law' by Frederic Bastiat, Jefferson's Complete Writings by Thomas Jefferson, and 'Democracy in America' by Alexis de Tocqueville. I've gotten into political history lately.
Taste: Marshmallow peeps! Mmm, marshmallowy... Oh, and I've suddenly been craving snickers bars a lot. My sweet tooth is practically out of control, hehe.
Hair:As curly and unruly as ever, but I'm trying to keep it manageable by straightening it & pulling it up in a bun.
Smell: Harajuku Lovers Love or DKNY Ripe Raspberry. I keep trying to find a perfume that smells like my friend Alastair's house. I know that sounds strange, but his house has a very distinct smell. His house is kind of my constant safe place, since whenever I was in trouble I always ended up running to stay with him in London. So I figure, why not try to recreate that smell so I can bring my safe, happy place to wherever I am? :) Thus far, Love and Ripe Raspberry smell kinda close, but they're still a bit too sweet. But of course, not many perfumiers try to capture the smell of really old English buildings for their perfumes. So I kinda doubt I'll ever be able to find one that's completely perfect.
Games: Heavy Rain, The Sims 3, Batman Arkham Asylum, Lego Rock Band
Love: Friends, Ferraris, and meeting new people.
Hate: Swelling. Holy freaking ever-loving crap, do I ever hate swelling! Oh, and add my body to that list. It's stupid, it never cooperates, nothing ever works right; I swear, my body is so strange, so unique, that the only explanation my doctors and I can think of is that surely I must be some kind of alien. And for that reason, I hate the people of my home planet for stranding me here without our species' copy of 'Grey's Anatomy for Pale-Skinned, Curly-Headed Aliens'. Shame on you, whoever the hell you are! Now get back here, pick me up, and fix me, damn it! (I hope you all know I'm kidding... can't help it, this alien thing is kind of a running gag with my doctors, since there's so much they can't explain. Sure would be a pretty interesting diagnosis though, wouldn't it?) :)
Day Dream: Just getting healthy again and finally being able to live my life again.

Past Currents - February 2005:
Music: Frank Sinatra singing with Antonio Carlos Jobim
Book: 'A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Vile Village" by Lemony Snicket.
Taste: Green apples and peanut butter
Hair: Curly, unruly, and pulled back in a loose pony-tail.
    Smell: Raspberry hand lotion
    Game: The Sims 2
    Love: Mmmmmmm... Ferrari...
Hate: My left foot. Argh, it hurts.
Day Dream: Tee hee, can't tell you. Not yet anyway. :-D

The Rest of the Quiz I Never Expect Anyone to Read
*What....*
    1. What do you think of the way you look? Freaky, sorta. I've got weird greenish eyes, a strange facial construction, but I'm okay with that. In fact, I'm glad I look different - I'd hate to be a typical body-type.
    2. What do you think about your attitude? I'm generally happy, and I usually obsess over making other people comfortable, so I don't think that's a bad thing. Unless I get too obsessive over it.
    3. What do you think about life after death? Heaven. Check out Revelations chapter 7 if you want a bit of detail of what I think (in particular the last four or so verses).
    4. What do you think about karma? I think of karma as an attitude, not in the traditional bohemian sense, but I believe in it, sorta. I think people are born with certain 'karma's, or personalities - natural inclinations to a certain frame of mind.
     5. What do you think about love? It makes fools out of the wisest of men. Women are no exception. :)
    6. What do you think about fate? I believe in some cases in preordination, but not fate. And even preordination can be swayed.
    7. What do you think about your self? I'm all nice and cuddly.
    8. What do you tell yourself if times get hard? Um. 'We'll always have Paris'? 'Here's lookin' at you, kid'? I don't know, I don't pay attention to myself when times get hard.
    9. What would you give your life for? Friends, family, a good cause, saving the world, all that jazz.
    10. What do you think about your first love? Hahahahahaha. Don't even go there!
    11. What do you think about the first person that loved you? The first person that truly loved me? Outside of my family? He taught me a lot about true unconditional love, acceptance, understanding, forgiveness, and what it is to be a man truly in love. I'll always, always be grateful to him for everything.
    12. What are you scared of? Being alone.
,b>13. What was the saddest moment of your life so far? Don't go there, either.
    14. What would life be without friends? Crap.
    15. Without family? Diddly.

*The Dream Side of You*
1.Do you dream a lot at night? Definitely. Some say too much, in fact. I have before-sleep dreams, regular sleeping dreams, and when-I-wake-up dreams.
2.Do you dream in black and white, or color? Depends. Some nights are Technicolor with stereophonic sound, other nights are Film Noir. :o)
3.Do you remember any of your dreams? Loads of them. I remember dreams from over 10 years ago.
4.Where is your dream make out spot? Hahahaha. Ummm… Hadn't really thought of a 'make-out spot'. A first-kiss spot, maybe, but not a make-out spot. Some place pretty and preferably with nice architecture. Maybe a fountain or two.
5.What is your dream kiss like? Nice. :o)
6.What is your dream job? I'm not sure, I have several of them. Being a writer would be a good one, but only if I made enough money to keep myself and my family comfortable. I'd like to design stuff (anything, really), but I don't want to design under pressure. Or, I'd like to do more stuff like DADA/PotterWar, but only if I can work with someone like Alastair - I don't think I could handle the pressure on my own. I'd need someone to keep me in check, keep my feet on the ground, like Alastair did so beautifully.
7.Where is your dream house? I have several, depending on what my life is like. Right now, my dream would be to own lots of land in the countryside somewhere in the United States. I want a relatively large - but not ostentatious - ranch house for me, my husband (to be - this is dreamland, remember?), and our children. I like the idea of a ranch because there would be animals for the children to tend to, lots of land for the kids to run around on, big wide open spaces, beautiful skies filled with stars at night, and the freedom to choose what I surround myself and my family with.
8.Where is your dream vacation? Either a long stay in Europe, or an around-the-world cruise.
9.Do you believe that your dreams are a gateway to your soul? Yup.

*Do you...*
1.Do you write in a journal or diary? Only my blog. I used to keep a regular journal, but I quit for a few reasons that shall remain nameless here.
2.Do you keep an organizer? Nah, but I have several of them. They're just empty.
3.Do you believe in love at first sight? I'd like to, but I'm not sure.
4.Do you believe that every person has one soul mate? Nope, not just one soul mate. But I do think there are certain souls that just click.
5.Do you believe in God? Yup.
* -     6.Do you believe in everyone (even the beyond helpless)? I've been told several times that I never give up on people. I'm guessing that's what this question means.
7.Do you believe in having a good education? Heck yeah, I's be's a edumacated.
8.Do you believe in horoscopes? Haha, no. How could the stars give such personal messages to the millions of people who share the same window of birthdates?!
9.Do you believe in yourself? Yes.
10.Do you shower daily? Of course!
11.Do you like this survey so far? No. It hasn't asked the fun, typical questions yet.
12.Do you like the person that sent you this? Yup, I stole it from Lindsay's blog. She's a nice girl.
13.Do you cry easily? Not usually, unless I'm having sinus problems, but that's not an emotional thing. I cry when other people are in pain - physical or emotional - but I think that's because it reminds me of when I was in a lot of pain as a child, but I never wanted to cry then. So it all comes back out vicariously. I do find myself crying more often now when I'm in pain, mostly emotional, but I think that's a good thing. I'm finally learning not to bottle everything up.
14.Do you believe in Heaven? You already asked that, you stupid survey!
15.Do you believe in hell? Not really, not in the traditional sense. To me, life is more complicated than just "good people go to heaven, bad people go to hell."
Updated 4/10 16.Do you believe in reincarnation? I think it's an interesting idea, and often incredibly misunderstood. After having a Hindu boyfriend for a while, I think I have a better understanding of it now than I used to. It's a fascinating idea, that human beings require more than just one lifetime to all we need to learn in order to be perfected and reach 'Nirvana', i.e. what western cultures refer to as 'Heaven'. I can understand that. So I think it's fascinating, but I'm not entirely sure I agree with the notion that people come back as cockroaches or caterpillars.

    2.favorite ice-cream: Mmm... Gelato!
3.favorite movies: Daddy Long Legs, Harvey, The Trouble with Harry, and tons, tons, tons more.
4.favorite actors: Gary Cooper, Gregory Peck, Cary Grant - all those classic gentlemen types. Gregory Peck's been on the list the longest - I've had a crush on him for as long as I can remember. I believe his portrayal of Atticus Finch in 'To Kill a Mockingbird' should be the model after which all men define their roles in fatherhood.

7.favorite song: "Abide with Me" as sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir - it is everything I want in life, condensed into one beautiful, soothing song.
8.favorite music groups: Beatles, (can composers count as groups? Who cares, this is my survey) Faure, Chopin, and Grieg.

    11.Giant Eagle: American flags.
12.A nun: Hehe, the Halloween costume I've always wanted - (I don't mean to offend anyone with that one. I love Catholics, and I really like Nuns. One of my best friends is a Nun.)
13.School: Old answer -Must... get... accepted... to... Uni... at... any... cost... Current answer - Got accepted. By multiple schools. Couldn't go. *sigh* My body is just plain stupid.

*Friendships*
1.Who is your overall~* top of the line~* best friend? Do I have to pick? I can't name one, so deal with it.
2.Who is your 2nd best friend? Nope, sorry, not happening.
3.Who is your 3rd best friend? Must you keep badgering me? They know who they are, that's good enough.
5.If there are anymore, you can list them: At least I hope they know who they are…
6.Is the funniest: Geeze, shut up already.
Updated 4/10 7.Do you tell your dreams to: Current answer - definitely Alastair. Old answer - Okay, this one I can answer, cause I'll tell most of my dreams to almost anybody, but I think there's only one person who knows just about all of them; Sujit. Don't know if he knows that or not, though. But I know a lot of his, so maybe he does. (P.s. I still love Sujit, we still talk, but he's gotten crazy busy lately, so we don't get to talk as often as we used to. I miss him!!)
8.Do you tell your fears to: Anybody who asks - I'm pretty much an open book, especially after writing in this blog for so many years. There are still some fears, though, that I don't share with everyone. See the above answer.
Updated 4/10 9.Do you go to for advice: Alastair, Jason, Jimi, Erick, Sujit, and tons more but I don't want to list all of them cause I know I'll forget to mention one name and it'll crush whoever that one person is, so I'm stopping right there.
10.Have you dreamt about: Almost all of them (I mean in real asleep dreams). The one I've had the freakest dreams about would have to be Alastair. Dream-Alastair has been an alarm clock, waking me up when I was late for a meeting. I dreamt I was standing in his pod at work, talking about League of Gentlemen, when all of a sudden he grabbed me by the shoulders and said, "Heather! Wake up!" I was thirty minutes late, and had slept through my alarm.
11.Knows everything about you: I don't think anyone knows everything about me.
12.Do you tell your secrets to: There's one person who knows pretty much all of my secrets. He knows who he is, and he knows how much I appreciate him.
13.Is the most shy: Hmm, tough one. I hadn't thought of that.
14.Is the loudest: A girl who used to live down the street from me. Holy crap.
Updated 4/10 15.Can't you live without: Alastair. I think my life would be so radically different if we had never met.
16.Is the most trendy: Nate. He keeps up with that sort of thing and always has.
17.Can be the most annoying: Not saying!
18.Lives the farthest away from you: Fabian - he's clear over on the other side of the world in Japan.
19.Lives closest to you: Brooke. She lives next door.
Updated 4/10 20.Are you most like: The more time I've spent with him, definitely Alastair. Except I suppress some sides of my personality that he lets fly. :)
Updated 4/10 21.What do you look for in a friend? I don't really look for anything. I let them find me. So come on, you person who's reading this, come find me! :)

*Love*
    1.boyfriend/girlfriend's name: Don't have one.
2.crush: Got a couple, not telling.
3.where does that special someone live? On Mars, since he's a man.
Updated 4/10 4.things you like in the opposite sex: A nice sense of humor (preferably close to mine), a mixed sense of style and comfort (not overly pretentious, but knows when it's okay to be casual, that sort of thing), nice teeth are a plus (hehe), and he has to be committed, if we're in that kind of relationship. But most of all, above everything else, he absolutely must have a firm sense of honor, integrity, and trustworthiness. I can't love someone if I can't trust them, and I don't expect them to love me if they can't trust me in return.
Updated 4/10 5.when was your first kiss: Okay, I'll admit it, I've been kissed since I originally wrote this. My first kiss was in Las Vegas, at a performance of Cirque du Soleil's "O". It was some time in February, I think about four or five days before my 18th birthday. That was technically my first kiss, although I'd like to change it to a kiss that happened the following April, if that's allowed. I've been kissed by several men, and I'd prefer to remember the one that kissed me in April as the very first, if it's all the same to you. So, then my answer would be, Edinburgh, April of 2003.
    6. the most romantic thing anyone has done for you was: I don't want to tell.
7.which is more important- personality or looks? Definitely personality - a beautiful person with an ugly personality will be ugly in my eyes, whereas a plain person with a beautiful personality will be the equivalent of a super model to me.
8.first boyfriend/girlfriend: I think the real first one was Nate, but that was totally puppy love. What do you expect? I was only 13.

*Creative Q's*
1.If you had the choice to spin around the sun, or walk on the moon, which would you choose and why? The moon - my eyes don't like sunlight. : )
2.What color do you think best describes you and why? Blue, can be calm and soothing, yet vibrant and inviting. Does that work? I kinda just blew smoke to see what would happen. : )
3.If you could be doing anything right now, what would you be doing: I'd love to be sitting on the porch of my ranch house in the countryside, a glass of lemonade on the table beside me, a notebook computer on my lap so I could monitor the happenings of my wildly successful online charity, while also keeping an eye on the children as they play out in the lawn with their father, my husband.
4.Would you ever share you heart completely with someone else? Yeah.
5.Which sense could you not live without, and why? Sight. I enjoy it too much, between color, art, nature, and all of that. I can always play music for myself in my head and remember notes and songs, I can remember smells perfectly, even taste, but sight gets fuzzy in my mind's eye.
6.Have you ever written on a mirror? If so what did you write? Nope.
7.If you could change one thing you did in the last 24 hours, what would it be and why? I don't think I'd change anything.
8.Do you prefer sleeping outside beneath the night sky, or your cozy bed indoors? If I could keep the bugs from bothering me, I'd sleep under the night sky. But with a flannel blanket. : )
9.What is the most beautiful thing in the world? The world.
10.Name one person who has changed your life for the better: Sujit.
11.What can someone do to you that would turn you on fully- physically or mentally- or both? I'm not answering that one - my brother reads this blog for goodness sake!
12.If you knew you were going to pass away within the next few days, what would be the last thing you say, and who would you say that to? I don't want to talk about that. I already have it written down, though, in a safe place just in case.
13.What is one thing that can make you smile no matter what mood your in? Root beer. :) Seriously, though, having a good friend tell me that they love me, and being able to say it to them, with complete sincerity. I believe people should say how much they love and appreciate each other more often - I don't even mean in a romantic way. Just that friends need to know that they're valued and loved. Being able to express that always, instantly, makes me feel better. No matter what.
Updated 4/10 14.If you could meet anyone, past or present, dead or alive, who would you meet and why? Hmm. I'm not sure I could narrow it down to one person. Current answer: Benjamin Franklin. He's always intrigued me and I've always wondered how well he'd fit in around my family's dinner table for our crazy, giglgly conversations. Plus, he kinda reminds me of my friend Alastair, so I'd love to introduce them and watch the sparks fly. :) Previous answer: Right now I'd say Albert Einstein, cause he seems like a really interesting fellow.
    15. What makes you you? Me. : ) Just kidding. I think it's my ability to dream, and dream big, all for the sake of making the world as good as I know it can be. I'm unashamed of how naive I can be when it comes to how I view the world, but I choose to see it as an optimistic innocence that I think more people should have in their hearts. I've been cynical for long periods in my life, and I've always come back to being this way.

Stupid Extra Stuff I Never Expect Anyone to Read:

Do you ever have to beg? Nope
Are you sweaty all the time? No!
Do you urinate in public swimming pools? I don't swim in your toilet, so don't pee in my pool.
Do you wear a watch? I always mean to, but I forget. The best of intentions...
Do you judge actual books by their covers? I'm afraid I do, yes.
Do you donate blood? Can't. I can't exactly remember why. Something to do with the number of times I've been radioactive for blood tests or something.
What is your favorite nursery rhyme? Oranges and Lemons, cause it's so dang icky.
Can you balance on 1 leg for very long? Yeah.
Name something you would like to experience in ur lifetime: Ooo. I want to visit every continent.
Are you dramatic? I can be, if I need to be.
Were you a planned baby, or a nice surprise? I was definitely planned.
Do you like walking on dried leaves? No, they beg to be danced on.
Can you hook your leg behind your neck? I'm so close to being able to do that.
Do you long for adventure? I cannot say "yes" enough to this question.
Are you waiting for a donor organ? No, but I'd like a new set of some organs, please.
Are you afraid of anything? Two things: becoming lethargic, or annoying people (separate phobias) Oh, and I'm also deathly afraid of people who replace the word "you" with only the letter "u".
Do you like eating alone in restaurants? I don't mind it.
How many national parks have you visited? Way too many to count in way too many countries. I'm national-parked-out.
Do you go out in the cold with wet hair? Yeah, I'm not that picky about the after-effects of it.

Have you ever been stalked? Yes, three times that I know of. The police actually had to get involved in the third incident.
Do you know anyone that is racist? Yup, loads of them.
Do you think white males have the easiest existence? No, I think they're being eaten alive.
Do you think that your government is corrupt? No, just a lot of the people in it. I think the American system of government - as it was originally intended, as a republic - is the closest we've ever come to perfection in government in the history of the world. But sadly, it now offers a lot of temptation to the people who get too deep in it.
Do have too many love interests right now? I don't know, do I? ;)
Have you ever had amnesia? Yes, and it's not as dramatic and elegant as soap operas make it seem. I didn't have one hunky guy named "Dirk" rush to me in my hospital room, proclaiming his love for me. :)
Are you a whiz? Geeze, more with the potty questions... :)
Does it bother you if people can hear you pee? Again! What is it with you people? And yes, it does.
Do you have a receding hairline? Hahahahaha!
Do you know anyone famous? Yeah, but they're all geeky-famous.

Do you think Americans eat a healthy diet? Compared to the rest of the world, I'd say on average we're doing okay. We may not all be as macrobiotic as some people may like, but hey, we kick butt when it comes to health!
How many times a year do you go to the doctor? When I lose count of injections above 180 or so, how can you expect me to keep track of how many times I go to the doctor?
Do you like your feet massaged? Uh huh! It's one of my all-time favorite things in the world.
Do you like to massage other's feet? Depends. Are they clean? :)
Do you prefer warm or cool colors? Anything.
When is the last time you held a newborn baby? Last Saturday - he was the chubbiest, cutest thing ever!
Have you ever been wrongly accused of a crime? Yeah, but not a really, really bad one. Honestly, I have! Not to the point where the police got involved, it was legal threatening between me and several lawyers.
What is your favorite bumpersticker saying? Either "One by one the penguins steal my sanity" or "Can't sleep, clowns will eat me, Can't sleep, clowns will eat me, Can't sleep, clowns will eat me," etc etc.

Do you like speaking in public? It's okay, not too fond of it but it doesn't bother me.
What's the nicest compliment you've ever received? "Wow... you talk like you write. I'm impressed." - Aaron Berman, USA Today - That one had significant meaning at the time because I was recovering from a brain infection when Aaron said it to me. I had been rather depressed because my speaking abilities had been reduced to the level of a young child who had just learned how to read aloud. I was heartbroken that I could no longer express my thoughts and feelings. I thought I'd never speak clearly again. I hadn't realized I had recovered when he told me and I nearly cried right in the middle of the interview because it meant so much to me that someone else - someone who was used to interviewing important, articulate people - recognized that I could make my mouth move again and speak without slurring. I could talk like I could write, and that meant so much to me.

Are you easily amused? Hahaha, yes.
Do you have sloppy handwriting? I think I do, but it's getting better.
Name the seven continents. North America, Antarctica, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Which ocean is closest to you? Atlantic.
Do you have violent mood swings? Nah, when I turned 12 I was determined not to let my age get to me, hence why I'm not too often accused of PMSing, and why I don't have violent mood swings.
Do you like the way bodybuilders look? Icky, no! But I'd never tell one that to their face, that'd be mean. (So if you're a body builder, ignore that last answer and read this: No, I think they're lovely.)
What climate is most comfortable for you? Definitely cold. I like to be able to use flannel sheets when I sleep so everything gets all soft, fuzzy and cuddly. Plus, when it's hot at night, I have weirdo Kafka dreams.
Do you think people who kill people should be killed? It depends entirely on the situation, but if you mean 'Do I believe in capital punishment?' Then yes, sometimes I think it's the only solution. But I don't think it should be handed out like sentence-candy.
Have you had any limbs amputated? Normally I think this is supposed to be a trick question, but yes, I have.

Who should play you in a movie about your life? I've been told two things, so I'll list both: Nicole Kidman (yeah right) or Cate Blanchett (whatever).
Updated 4/10 Best chase scene in a movie: Blues Brothers. Have you ever actually counted the cars they crush in that movie? It's great! Bullitt has an absolutely awesome one, though! I just got it on blu-ray, yay!
Do you know how to tie a tie? Yup.
What do you carry with you at all times? The only thing that's constantly on me (apart from clothes, but those change, so I don't think that counts) is a Greek Orthodox ring I got at a concentration camp in Germany. I'm not Greek Orthodox, but the ring has a very significant meaning, so I never take it off.
Do you snore? Nope.

Do You...
smoke? Icky, no.
do drugs? Nope, I've had enough legal drugs, thanks.
sleep with stuffed animals? Okay, I'll admit it, I have two on my bed, but one is part of an on-going bet. I've had this stuffed Tiger ("Hobbes") since I was 7, and my mom asked me one day, "Are you going to carry that thing around with you forever?" So I promised that I would, and ten years later, I still have it. The other stuffed animal, well... he's just really soft, cude, and cuddly. He's a moose. I haven't named him yet, though, he's pretty new.
have a dream that keeps coming back? Several of them.
Updated 4/10 play an instrument? Used to play piano, til it's soundboard cracked. It was really, really old. I just got a concertina, I'd love to learn to play that. I've always wanted to learn to play the didgeridoo too. The oboe's another one I'm interested in.
believe there is life on other planets? Yeah, somewhere.
remember your first love? Yeah.
still love him/her? As a friend, nothing more.
believe in miracles? Sometimes.
believe it's possible to remain faithful forever? Definitely.
consider yourself tolerant of others? Most of the time.
consider love a mistake? It can be. Sometimes.
have a favorite candy? Mmm... chocolate...
have a best friend? Yeah, several of them.
wish on stars? When I'm feeling crickety.
like your handwriting? No.
have any bad habits? Yeah, but I'm working on them.
care about looks? Not really. I may joke about it (i.e. my jokes about nice teeth) but I don't care. Just look at my last boyfriend. Hahahaha, just kidding.

That's it. Congratulations, you made it to the end! You win a cookie! I give you full permission to go out and buy yourself one.
